    A quiet, little Japanese restaurant tucked in between a few shops in Laguna!

    Stumbled across Hapi Sushi while taking a stroll through Laguna. It is small and cozy on the inside with fun decor. The menu is limited, however, anything you get on the menu is going to be good. We ordered the baked mussels, rainbow roll, spicy tuna roll, and 79 special roll. All of it was good! The presentation was nice, too! The service was good and the preparation speed was as expected. It's definitely a nice place to grab lunch while enjoying the sunshine in Laguna!

    Hapi Sushi eh?  In Japanese, does "Hapi" mean RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, CRAPPY service with sub-par food?

    If so, then YES...this place is VERY "Hapi"...

    Tourists beware. Go to 242 Cafe Fusion (across street from Las Brisas at 242 N. Coast Hwy),
    San Shi Go (1200 S. Coast Highway) further south
    or maybe Thai food at Thai Brothers on Laguna Avenue (near parking structure). Ralphs grocery has better sushi!!

    Small and quaint, beach vibe, the chef was awesome, sushi was decent and price was good. Gorgeous area with lots of dining options and easy parking.

    Without a doubt, the best sushi I've ever had! It tastes so fresh and there is really nothing else like it.
    The service is great! The items are a litttttttle pricy, but I truly think that it is worth the experience. Every time I am in Laguna, I make sure to have lunch or dinner here! Definitely check this place out :)

    I've been to so many sushi places , this place is unique in its own way. At first I kind of liked the smallness as it reminded me a lot of japan.., then it started reminding me of the dark streets when I would get lost in Japan, hungry and thirsty but my friends knew better than me to order anything.. where I tried whale for the first time:  Anywho if you're drunk it's a good time here surely.
